Normally get my corn on Elwood Rd East Northport at DeLeaâs or Carlsonâs farm stand. Always very fresh corn and very tasty and sweet at 85 cents an ear. Heading home today stopped at BB GG for some corn. Walked up to the corn table and I swear said to my self âcorn looks dried out,â but bought a few ears anyway. Boiled them up tonight and taking them out of the pot they didnât look right like real fresh sweet corn. Sure enough no taste - bland and certainly not sweet.    Read moreI do not give bad reviews but I need to say, after multiple experiences, over many years to buy from this nursery, I am just tired of the attitude from the cashier who I do believe is the owner. I buy my wreaths in winter, plants in summer and you repeatedly treat me less than and with curt, rude answers. I am a local. Grew up here. I have a lovely yard and planting is my hobby and my happy place. You will not take that away from me. They wanted $275 for a cord of wet wood, picked up, he told me it was seasoned 1 year. No way. Canât be. Delivered was over $300. For those prices it better be bone dry and light with newspaper. Took a piece off the pile, had a worker split and tested with reliable meter, 25.5%-28% average reading on a small piece. I offered him $200 and he let me walk.
