Dollar General — Local services in Town of Sodus

Small store but they've got everything you'd expect from a Dollar General. Cheap prices on just about everything and you'll find things pretty easily if you know what you're looking for. They've undergone a bit of a remodel so it's better than it was a couple of years ago. Sometimes when I shop here there's inventory in boxes in the aisles and it makes it difficult to walk and it's not very safe. Alot of other times when I visit the store is pretty clean and well stocked. The staff are usually friendly and helpful but they change constantly so to me it doesn't seem like they are able to keep employees and alot seem to complain about their duties and seem like there's too much work for them to handle. I have spent so much money in this place because of how convenient to home this is but now I am limiting my presence there Someone I know got a job there and was only there a short time before another employee stole money out of their register and the person I know got blamed and terminated for this It's a shame that favoritism can create and enable such an unjust situation and allow someone innocent to be labeled and discarded You can't tell me that there are no cameras watching the register which would show who actually...

Dollar General pops up everywhere. They cater to an underserved population and for many folks it it their only grocery store for miles. I use the term grocery loosely as you won't find fruits and veggies in a store like this...but you will find junk food-and lots of it- as well as staples like bread, milk and eggs.
