My family and I love to shop at Youngman Orchards Farm Market. Located on Lake Road in Sodus Point, New York, you'll find a little bit of everything when it comes to farm fresh produce and other local products. That's including honey, apple cider, beef jerky, soaps, apples and even coffee from Imprint Coffee Roasters. The fall is my favorite time to visit, especially on Sundays because of their freshly made donuts and apple cider. They sell the freshest apples and have a large variety of small, medium and large pumpkins as well. Purchased corn and blueberries, and paid with credit card. Given a non-itemized cash receipt. Since I paid by credit card, I requested a credit card receipt for the payment. Female staff member said that she couldn’t give me anything else. I said that I was entitled to a credit card receipt. She than said that if I gave her my personal information, she would email or text the receipt to me. I did not want to receive the receipt that way but wanted it given to me at the time of transaction. Upon my persistence and request, she wrote a very informal receipt. What a great market, full of fresh produce - everything looked amazing. I brought home cherries. Cases of cheese and meat, hard ciders, vodka, wine, home goods. It is a really large building and it was fun to wander around and enjoy everything. If you go, try their homemade donuts - the blueberry frosted was yummy. Owners very friendly, pleasant place. They have flowers and plants outside and a brew shed as well. Would love to go back on a weekend night to sit outside and have a few drinks. Looks like a fun...
