Not the best experience we have had. We paid for the private party package, as it was our sons birthday. The owners have always been quite friendly but today they seemed to be fixing and stocking during our party. Additionally we had random people walking through the space they told us to use for the party. Two womans came through and then an elderly man kept passing through and exiting through the side door. I do understand our party is small but we are paying for the party regardless. The pizzas were ok, nothing to write home about. Had to wait for someone to get us drinks and play music as they were busy chattingand stocking. When my son requested music he was told that sometimes it doesnt get played right away which is fine but there was no one up there playing music at all. Too much time in between songs. Not worth 400 bucks. Save your money and do the party during open skate. Asked for Happy Birthday song to play, the man just stared at me and walked away. This was played finally after about 15 minutes. The woman finally came over after cake was served to honk horn and say happy birthday. And then after paying for this grand party with the woman...we are going to leave and the man comes running over to make sure we paid our 400 bill. Wish he was that attentive during our party. Do...
Read moreSkate City is hands-down one of our favorite places to bring the kids—and it’s not just because it’s super affordable (which it is!). From the moment you walk in, it’s pure joy: lights flashing, kids laughing, and roller skates zipping by. It’s the kind of place that brings back the magic of classic family fun, while still offering tons to do for every age.
We especially LOVE the arcade—it’s not just swiping a plastic card and watching numbers on a screen. At Skate City, you win real tickets. Like, handfuls of them. There’s just something incredibly satisfying about seeing your child proudly hold 500 crinkled tickets, counting them one by one as they dream about the prize they’ll pick. It’s interactive, it’s engaging, and it brings a whole new level of excitement to the experience.
Whether it’s skating, climbing, sliding, or playing in the arcade, Skate City is everything a kid-friendly place should be: fun, active, nostalgic, and full of energy. It’s our go-to spot for cousin get-togethers, rainy days, or just when we need a little...
Read moreI went today for a birthday party pack, which doesn't include food as we found out after being there for an hour and a half. The music and decor was awful, plus lots of the music was not kid appropriate. I asked for a new pair of skates for my son because the laced were frayed, I was met with the man pulling on them and telling me if they break he will get me new ones. A toy didn't work and my son had to prove it multiple times before they replaced it. The bathroom floor was covered in puddles caused by the ceiling leaking and when i said something about it they placed a mop on top and i watched another child fall on top of it. The machines were rigged and boring, the toys in the claw machines were too heavy for the claw to carry. Lots of things around were old and needed replacing. I'm never coming...
