This is a long story but I will make it short I have a 1999 road glide and the stator spun and destroyed the side of the engine. While searching for a replacement engine I seen Hillside had made a couple comments about not replacing engines but repairing them and upgrading them. So I got in contact with Scott and sent him photos. The man didn’t even hesitate saying we can fix. Loaded up the bike and we made the trip to see Scott again he didn’t flinch about the damage and the age or fuel injection system. Scott asked what kind of riding my wife and I do. Bought a trike from a family member. They took it to Hillside to get it checked out . When we got it back very interesting. Transmission fluid that looked like milk with strawberry quik, not enough oil, though family was charged for an oil change along with an inspection, but no sticker given. Biggest surprise was there were washers placed in between the brake pads and calipers, almost like shims. Never heard of that being done. Explains why the brakes over heat, and no I don't ride the brakes. Final piece to this adventure I was told by family Hillside was not happy with what I paid for the Trike.
