Domes Cannabis Dispensary - Kingston — Local services in Town of Ulster

I’ve been in here three times; the first two times I had a hard time getting help (the staff didn’t seem to be educated beyond preference). It’s beautiful inside; it’s also overpriced, and caters to folks with money over folks that need assistance. I went in today; got in line to be assisted because I needed help deciding. I waited, and was next to be helped when a dude that came in after me cut and asked for help. They helped him. Then when I walked to the counter, I ask first guy if he can help me find something. He gives me a shrug then excuses himself to go to the other side. I turn to the other associate and ask, are you knowledgeable? They ask what I mean, I say, can you help me find something, are you knowledgeable and they shrug as in, I guess so, and don’t seem to want to help. I think it’s important to remember that some Of us come into these shops because we are disabled and need help, and rely on them for help.

I recommend Fluent just next door. They were a medical dispensary and they actually care about all the sick people coming in that need help. They don’t shrug at you and act like they are being put out or offended. They just want to assist. Let me start off by saying this company hires genuine people! Shane has answered so many of my questions, I've lost count. His best recommendations have been between the Rove pen and MFNY products. Whether inquiring about the extraction process or what makes Rosin/Resin's different from distillate, Shane doesn't disappoint. Claudia has the best suggestions for new strains and she's always so cheerful! She also complimented me on my suspenders and our interactions are always smooth like butter. Luke has been really informative too, easy going and helpful about understanding the chemical aspects like terpenes, cannabinoids and how they function on a molecular level.

Overall 10/10 service. I don't go anywhere else for cannabis!

Edit: Today, I forgot my wallet at the dispensary and David was kind enough to text me that they would hold onto it for me. A big shout out to David for getting me my wallet back without issue! I continue to appreciate top of the line customer...

Made our first trip to Domes Dispensary today having placed a pre-order two days ago. Very nice building inside and out. I had left them a message to let them know we'd be in to get our order in two days. We received not one but two confirmation call backs to let us know that it would be no problem. When we arrived, we were cheerfully greeted by two staff members as we came through the door which felt good. Our order was gathered and we were ready to pay our bill in literally two minutes. There was some very pleasant chat exchanged and on our way we went.
