They try to please the buyer and seller but if you’re sitting there with any intention you could be there all night. They will give the buyer five mins to decide if they will go up another $100 and then give the seller five mins if the horse has hit a reserve they are happy with. They do not go in order. They won’t announce a horse that’s been pulled from the sale EVEN IF it’s one they used as a huge draw to the sale. Several great quality horses, but a lot of flipping camp horses going on. They try but could seriously improve the facility and for the love of god not let so many people in the ring, it’s small enough and hard enough to see a horse go in there.

When you say horses sell at 4:00 stop trying to get another $5 for a saddle that belongs in the trash. A bit of quality control there would be nice, no one wants a bucket of leather. Drove 3 hours for their draft special auction a couple months ago. The barn was VERY small and the horses could barely move because there were way more people in the barn than it could fit. I showed up just for the horses, but horses started late because tack selling ended over an hour after it was supposed to. Ended up having to leave early because it was 9 pm and I had to drive 3 hours home. Other than that, it was a nice place with some beautiful horses for sale and most of the other patrons were kind. One thing that was strange was that someone's (not sure if it was the barn owners' or not) dog was off leash and running through the whole area, which was not safe for the horses or the dog. Several people tried to catch it. But I will be returning for a new horse and hopefully will be able to stay...

I was in attendance yesterday and found the place overcrowded and poorly organized. There was no traffic or parking control whatsoever and the auction arena and barn was so crowded I was unable to fight my way through the crush of people to get a look at any horses. I wouldn't have been able to bid on a horse anyway. I went around to another entrance and found entrance and exit blocked by a locked metal gate.Younger folks were climbing over it to get in and out but I couldn't. I'll have to go elsewhere to...
