Baldwinsville Community Park — Local services in Town of Van Buren

A lousy time of year, but fine trails! I know it'll be great in summer + early fall. "Most" people seem to follow the leash law. There's "always a few" though. There are photos of Paper Mill Island Trail 'south' also.(Right IN Baldwinsville by bridge over Seneca River + Locks) (We went to both places today) They're labeled here. 8-6-2025: I went in early August and feel I MUST WARN PEOPLE!!!.POISON IVY IS PROLIFIC ALONG WOOD & RIVER TRAILS!!! It was SO BAD I couldn't let my dog go off sides of trail 'to sniff'. And that ruins the walk for her😕. (But if she gets the oil on her.... I get it next!). Seems like they could either make trails wider or "spray control" the spread of it....

There is literally a boat ramp with a very small dock and then a hundred and fifty feet to the right of Shoreline with that times a six or eight foot drop off onto sharp rocks, so great to be called Community Park I guess if you want to ride on the swings it's great but if they would create I better incline with maybe some Pebbles or a Sandy Beach area then they would definitely increase the amount of families that could attend and maybe throw in a concession stand to...

4star review as I’m solely rating the boat ramp/launch. A wide open approach makes for easy backing up of any trailer size. The dock is a very nice one (solid) and is also handicap accessible. The only thing that held back a 5star review is the drop point where the water meets the ramp.
