This year was my first time having Becks process the deer I shot. They were fairly organized, in my opinion, but did have many new and young employees. My deer was processed and my cuts of steak were great, but I ended up taking home the extra for trimmings that should have stayed at the store. And of course, since it was my first time, I didnt know any better, and none of the employees told me otherwise until I called and asked about it after i got home. I live over an hour away so it was disappointing to have to bring the trimmings back. If I hadn't already put a deposit down for sausage, I probably would have kept my trimmings and went somewhere closer. But I took the trimmings back and the man apologized over and over and even offered an extra stick of sausage for my trouble. They treated me well and I love the seasonings and ratios in the sausage. Took an over $500 debit from our account twice when we purchased our beef. When I brought it to their attention the next day when I went back to purchase our pork, I was nonchalantly told, "It happens sometimes. It should resolve itself in 3 to 4 days."

Really? Nothing else they can do....the accountant isn't here right now....

So fair warning...do not use your checking account if you can't afford to cover their mistake for a week without overdrawing.

Droped a deer off in there after hours drop off ordered jalapeno and cheddar hot sticks asked to have them packaged in 1 lb packs. Received them in 2 lb packs and were jalapeno and cheese, I think the cheese is white cheddar, not sure. They actually have The hot sticks made by someone else. The doe I shot was a big one, the back straps are not as big as the ones I have from the year and a half I got last year. I don't know if someone switched my deer in their cooler or what?
