I’ve been noticing a few lines around my lips for some time now that I haven’t been too happy with and decided to treat myself for my birthday. I did my research and decided on this location based off of their reviews.
During the initial consultation Rachel stated that my lines were not bad at all and that “we are always harder on ourselves”, clearly meaning I personally thought the lines were more noticeable than what they truly were. Due to this, I was only given half of a syringe.
I waited the allotted amount of time and have continuously taken photos as well as shown my daughter for advice on the outcome. When looking at a photo prior to the injections and one taken after, my daughter was unable to distinguish which was which.
Having prior experience working in a medical spa environment, I brought her with me for my follow up appointment. She said to keep my expectations for help, low, and boy was she right.
To be blunt, I was gaslit. I was told that suddenly the injections on their own would have never given the results I was seeking but would only work in conjunction with laser therapy, but later on in the conversation (which was recorded) it was suggested that Botox was the solution. So which is it? Laser therapy or Botox? This was said in a way like “remember when we discussed this” which is a blatant lie. It was never discussed during the original appointment, otherwise, I would not have wasted my money to get the injections if I knew that a secondary treatment had to be done to achieve my desired results.
My daughter even laughed at one point and asked Rachel where she was seeing the difference in the before and after pictures and asked why laser therapy had not been the original plan if she was clearly stating that the injections alone, were unable to help. Rachel didn’t have much to say besides a lot of “ummm” and meekly stating repeatedly that she saw slight improvements.
Defeated, fuming and clearly not getting anywhere, I walked out and did not book another appointment, nor do I plan to. It was clearly about upselling, which is morally wrong. So much for the happy birthday gift to myself. The first three pictures of me before I had the procedure, the last 4 is what I look like now after Rachel stated she sees a slight difference. Where is the difference?? I feel I was scammed and was never offered to fix it, of course,...
Read moreThe Q med spa is my favorite place! It’s clean, luxurious, and always professional. All of the staff members truly listen and genuinely take time to recommend services, whether it’s to address physical/beauty concerns, or your skins overall health- even if it is a lesser priced treatment then what you came in for! That speaks volumes to me as it’s not just about pushing expensive treatments and taking money, it’s more than transactional at the Q! I’ve had injections by Priscilla who is always so kind, and takes her time explaining what is best to get the results you are looking for. She’s not afraid to be honest if what you’re asking for won’t be the best option; versus just doing it anyways and risking an unfavorable outcome longevity wise! I’ve also had a hydro facial and corrective peel by Rachael, who was so nice and informative about my acne concerns! She worked with me to give me a catered treatment plan that would help be achieve healthier, happier skin! I will never throw away money for the “old classic spa step- by- step traditional routine for everyone” facial again! The treatments, facials and peels given here are catered to your skin individually and are equally as pampering! Also, the before and after pictures you take in the beginning of each visit are so detailed and cool to see! The high tech skin analysis imaging machine is mind blowing and included with service/consult! I will never go anywhere else after coming here!...
Read moreI have been looking for a provider that could support me hormonally since going through menopause. I wanted someone who had advanced knowledge of hormones, and worked with only bio, identical, high-quality, ingredients. I believe I have finally found that in this practice. The bloodwork that was done to create a baseline awareness of where my body is at was extremely thorough. My first appointment to review the results and be given recommendations for treatment was today. Julie spent, about an hour and 45 minutes with me. Her knowledge is top-notch and her ability to answer all of my questions was impressive. I have done a lot of research on my own, and I am no stranger to the kind of process I was intent on finding. I am beyond excited to work with Julie and move into my late fifties/early 60s with optimal health and...
