Rehearsal dinner caterer: Board and Bacon: Discover Cayuga Lake allows you to bring your own liquor and caterer onto the boat for the cruise. We chose to stay local to Rochester, NY and chose Board and Bacon. Let me tell you, we did not regret this decision one bit. Jen and Pete Fox of Board and Bacon worked closely with Discover Cayuga and coordinated set-up and clean-up. The food was incredible! We just took the charcuterie and cider class with Board’n’Bacon and could not be more pleased! It was so much fun! Pete was very knowledgeable about the different meats and cheeses and explained where they came from and what they were. They also included many of their homemade goodies that were beyond yummy! We were even able to take the whole thing home with us so we can actually recreate it. I live out of state now so I contacted boardnbacon to see if they could put together a small charcuterie board for my mom's birthday. Well they knocked it out of the park, the board was hand delivered to her and it looked AMAZING and even more importantly, I hear it tasted fantastic. I was able to add the delicious looking homemade bread to the board as well. Boardnbacon was also happy to help out with some substitutions to suit our preferences, which was so nice. Now I'm hoping to find an excuse to order another board from them, preferably when I'm in town next time....
