I am a visitor to the area and this may be the only small market around but it makes up for its size in quality. All the produce was super fresh and much of it was local. My favorite part was the precooked items in the deli. The guy who was working at the deli today was so friendly and eager to give us a taste of different foods they'd prepared. The sample bites we got were so delicious we bought even more. We bought hot pork medallions in a delicious marinade, roasted zuchinni squash, superfood salad, marinated mushrooms, and curry chicken salad. They were all super yummy! It made a great dinner for us. I look forward to going back and trying more yummy prepared foods and I hope that same deli guy is working because he has the best customer...
Read moreMy cranky toddlers had the sudden NEED for bananas. Though they normally stick to their noses up to them, this was a life or death situation. We were in the area and stumbled upon the market. First, all the workers were very kind. Even the customers were nice. Second, they had an awesome selection of cold brew in a can!!! Score. They also had a nice selection of "international foods." Where I'm originally from, there's Asian markets, Dominican markets, Greek markets, Indian markets.... When I end up in stores and see a decent sized section, I know it's good.
My toddlers ate all four bananas and got to see the horses next store. Crisis was successfully averted and no one died, except the bananas...
