Maine Fresh Catch Market — Local services in Trenton

I like this spot A LOT. I visited it multiple times during my stay last year. I have and will continue to do so during my current visit to ANP.

In short, they are the agent/broker for 300+ local fishermen…selling the freshest catch hauled in daily to the public. They always have a healthy inventory of different seafood and are open all year, which is exceptionally great for off-season travelers like me. Staff are exceptionally friendly and prices are fair. Their sales can also get you product for really cheap (for example, crab is currently 10 lbs / $20 yesterday).

Another cool fact is that rare lobsters do end up here once in a while. They are obviously not for sale and will be sent to a lobster “sanctuary” that does not involve a warm bath. There was a blue lobster (1 in 2 million) and two Calico lobsters (1 in 30 million) in one of the holding tanks yesterday. This is something you won’t have the opportunity to see at most (if not all)...

The team at Maine fresh catch market are amazing group of people, they take customer service to the top 10 I call need something Mike is right on it with a friendly voice and Christina is always the their greeting you with a warm welcoming smile. The Best thing I love about going their is they take the time to help u find what you want versus other companies that just sell u something and treat to like a number. I have put the word out that ANYONE looking for FRESH and GREAT Seafood, come here first, and you’ll never have to go searching for FRESH anywhere else anymore.👍🏻 Did I mention that the people who work there are very informative and friendly? Yes they are.😁 My son gave us a gift certificate for Christmas this year, and he did nothing but rave reviews for this place. After having these….. yup! HE’S GOT IT RIGHT!
