My a/c was working Sunday night when I went to bed. The next morning it was 77 inside and climbing. A friend recommended WA Air Conditioning, so at 8:30am I called. I was surprised when they said a tech would be out between 10-11am. The tech arrived and gave me the bad news. He could get it back up and running BUT he wasn't sure it would last 3 months. The heat pump was 21 years old. I asked about getting a new system and the tech called in my request. Within 10 minutes, Craig called and within another 15 min he was at the house. He took the time to calculate the correct size unit I needed and fully explained the 3 systems to me. Once I picked out the system, he went to the office and brought back 2 window a/c units for us to use until our new system was installed. This was totally unexpected but GREATLY appreciated. Our new system was installed on Thursday of the same week. Craig took the time to demonstrate and explain all the features of the new thermostat. Javier's team did our installation. Before they began, he introduced each member. It was a pleasure to watch them work. They worked together as a team and it was evident they each knew exactly what the others were doing. Where do I start...I'll start by saying we called another a/c place first [Mcwilliams and Sons] and the technician told me the motor was bad, the freon was low, and I needed a new squirrel cage for my blower, that the whole system needed to be replaced and would be roughly 12-$17,000. Now I'm not an a/c tech obviously but I do know a bit about the different components. Enough to know I didn't believe him! I opted for a 2nd opinion and called WA which promptly made a house call late in the evening I might add. My technician's name was COTEY. He was very quick and knowledgeable and all around professional. He diagnosed my system in less than 30 minutes and found the board on my motor was bad and that my motor was still under warranty. It took a couple days to order the part and he had it fixed the day it came in, again very quickly. Long Story short Cotey saved me around $12,000 he didn't lie nor try to upsale me on anything that I didn't ask for.
