Republic Services — Local services in Troy

Republic Services bought out our local company. I was worried that we would get lost in the shuffle of "Big Business". I am happy to say that I was wrong! Republic Services has been wonderful. They honored our contract and considered our individual needs when it was time to renew. Just a couple of weeks ago, I got a call about the container that WE own needing repairs or possible replacement. Our representative, Raven, got back to me quickly with possible solutions. After our call, she followed up with the written proposal. Raven then reached out to her boss, and they were able to come up with an even better plan, specifically designed to meet our individual needs. Raven went above and beyond to help us and was willing to go up the chain of command to give excellent service! We are thankful for Raven and Republic Services! Unfortunately, in most companies, Customer Service is a thing of the past. Having people that care about their customers and are willing to go beyond their actual job to help is a true blessing!

My call with Raven was on a Friday. We had our new container sent out on the following Monday! I got a call that there was a mix up and they had sent a container that didn't lock (our old one locks). They didn't just drop it...they called me and asked if I preferred to have a locked container. The driver was still on site, he was knowledgeable and pleasant. Again, both the phone call and the interaction with the driver were top notch!

This type of customer service is unheard of (unfortunately) in our current environment.
