North Lake Property Management — Local services in Truckee

I would not recommend this company at all. They are looking for an excuse to scam you. I recently stayed in a North Lake Property Management at an Air BNB unit in Olympic Valley California while on a ski vacation at Lake Tahoe in Pallisades resort during the middle of February 2025. The room was fine (minus no trash bags). From the beginning we were only provided TWO room keys. However upon leaving the cabin we were accused of loosing a room key we were never provided and they have charged me $75 for a piece of plastic that I never received. That’s right $75 for a room key that resembles a credit card that probably cost $2 to manufacture. On top of this we did not have trash bags in our unit the entire stay. Wasn’t a big deal to be honest at the time and I likely would have never even complained or mentioned it… however after fighting them for two weeks about this room key we never received. I mentioned the trash bags and they insisted that their “housekeeper” had stocked the place with trash bags and left us the third room key. Lies. Absolutely ridiculous. And they charged me. . Stay clear of this company. They will find a way to scam you. They conveniently charged me after the allowed review period though Air BNB so I would leave this review on Air BNB. Con artist. 5-Star Review for a Fantastic Stay in Lake Tahoe

We had an amazing stay at one of North Lake Property Management's properties in Palisades Village in Lake Tahoe, and I can’t recommend it enough! James was a fantastic host, providing very clear instructions that made it easy to find the unit. He was always prompt and responsive, and even went out of his way to accommodate our parking needs, which we really appreciated.

The location is unbeatable—just steps from the base of the mountain, making it incredibly easy to hop on the lifts for a perfect ski day. Plus, being right in the heart of the Village, we were surrounded by great shops and restaurants, making après-ski just as enjoyable as the slopes.

The building amenities were a huge bonus—we absolutely loved using the hot tubs, saunas, and gym after a long day on the mountain. Everything was well-maintained and made our stay even more relaxing.

Overall, this was an incredible place to stay for a Lake Tahoe trip, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend for anyone visiting...
