So I went here for a wedding and I've been owing them a review. So I've been to quite a few weddings now and this was the most expensive place and the most disappointing. First the dinner was pretty late from the scheduled time it was supposed to be delivered. Fine it's a big crowd. But the filet mignon I ordered (and many other people's) were so unreasonably uncooked I would have taken it as a joke under other circumstances. They wouldn't take it back to throw it on the flat top. I couldn't have been more reasonable and polite with my request but I was met with a unexpected horrible attitude I suspect was passed down from management. So with a no on the meat I turned to the rest of the food. So bad that the only thing I ate was parts of the potatoes that weren't burnt or unnaturally hard. $100 to eat a few oz of potatoes.... The DJ was unimaginably bad, don't know if that was the places fault or not. And the bar tender who was not busy when I went up there gave me an attitude... I guess a Shierly Temple is an unreasonable drink to ask for. Finally when I went outside to get some air some guy shouted at me not to go near the pool. I don't know if he mistook me for someone else but I wasn't anywhere near it and his tone was uncalled for... There was one really nice waitress who handles a bunch of drunks very well so I'll give the place that...
Read moreReally disappointed. Glen was closed so we did the more advanced course. Starter was very rude to us and gave us an attitude. My friend and I are beginners trying to get into the sport. We are always polite to the staff and open for any help they can give us. However, two members of the staff were extremely rude and talked down to us like we were nothing. I believe there was prejudice because of our age (18) and they thought we were messing around just because of that. They were very disrespectful and frankly it put a major damper on an otherwise great day. We will not be giving Tashua anymore of our business and they are a shame to public courses. The starter even made us go talk to the head before we left without any just reason. The head was very polite and we talked through everything and he seemed to understand that the old men that are out working don't really have a clue of what is going on...
Read moreBoth courses are nice. nothing spectacular but good. True greens with good speed. A range, chipping and bunker area and large putting green. The staff of pro shop, specifically the starters though are very rude and have always been on rude side for years. Absolutely no reason for anyone owning, working or associated with a business to be rude to the customers no matter how busy it is. People often are what make an experience worth it and lasting memories or bad. There enough courses in CT. This isn't one I would bother spending my time...
