UPDATE: :: KERSHAW DIID NOT HONOR ITS WARRANTY AFTER I HAD A KNIFE FOR LESS THAN A WEEK, AND I LITERALLY WAS CUTTING A ZIP TIE AND IT BROKE, CLEARLY THE BREAK SHOWS IT WAS A MANUFACTURE DEFECT. BUT NO CALL FROM THEM JUST A CHARGED CARD WITHOUT ME KNOWING.. BUYERS BEWARE - I WILL NEVER OWN A KERSHAW KNIFE AGAIN. Hello,
I have been using this knife on Dec 6th and been using it for about 10 days and the blade broke while cutting zip ties on a flag, I cant believe it to be honest. This was a decent priced blade too and I really was enjoying it. Can I get a replacement? Or is this something I will have to pay for. I really don't think this was my fault, I was cutting small zip ties, and the blade snapped! I couldn't believe it, see attached for the invoice with details on the blade and also the order number from Palmetto State Armory

This is very weird break... I think and am 99% sure it is a manufacturer defect, I have owned many knives, cheaper than this.. CRKT and Benchmade..Standard and custom made...I have never seen a blade brake like this, especially being new. I haven't even sharpended it yet and it was still a fresh blade. Could you please help me get this replaced? " --- Yep, they didnt even email me or call about them not covering this as a warranty when the knife was less than a week old and broke in a way ive never seen a knife break before. Not impresssed that they didnt even try in the slightest bit to make things right, and, they just charged my card without proper notification. Their excuse, check the spam folder for notification. I wouldnt have paid to have this piece of garbage fixed if a piece of plastic is going to break it. ... shiitty deal, made in usa garbage with made in usa boomer customer service....
Read moreVery poor customer service, used to be good back when but now it is a joke. I have many Kershaw knives, I bought another one and brand new out of the box it had some major issues. I called Kershaw, talked to them about it and they said send it on in. I did just that, they had it two days later. 6 weeks go by with no word at all from them so I call. They say oh ya that's being worked on and it'll be a couple weeks, sure enough a couple weeks go by and they finally mail back the knife. I open the box and it is literally the exact same condition and problems as when I shipped it almost 2 months before. I called and talked to a supervisor, he said he was sorry to hear that and sent me a UPS label to send it back to them again. It's been a complete repeat of the first time, 6 weeks without a word (I've been emailing the supervisor every other week trying to get some info, never responds) so I have to call. The supervisor isn't there so he has to call me back. A day later he calls back and it's basically like a recording of the first time, "we see the knife is being worked on and it'll be a couple weeks". I bought this knife brand new and the store suggested I work with Kershaw to fix it. I owned the knife one day before I shipped it in, now Kershaw has had it in their possession for over 3 MONTHS and we still have no idea if it's being...
Read moreI was able to tour the facility and see the operations here at Kai. They are amazing in the astounding amount of goods that they produce while maintaining a very high quality product. Their reception area is filled with displays that show every product of every brand that is sold by Kai. Work here is definitely not a drudge, everybody that I saw (even when they didn't know I was observing) was having fun and getting work done. The production floor runs both lines of Kershaw knives and Zero-Tolerance knives. Every step along the way has its quality control to ensure that every knife is tested and comes out great. The facility is clean and orderly. The products vary by which quantity of which knife is needed at the moment, but always runs at high volume. There are many processes done at this facility and each of them is using updated machinery and controls. This is a great place to start and stay working because the environment is never stale. Definitely plan to visit during their warehouse sale in December. There are huge discounts (up to 75% off). Plan a long wait because the lines can go...
