We moved into a new house recently, and we have had MANY things delivered by several companies. La-Z-Boy was the FIRST company to actually arrive when they said they would. That’s huge, because we need to plan our lives around “strangers” showing up at our door, and we need to be ready. That can be stressful, especially when companies show up hours earlier than they communicated.
From La-Z-Boy, I received text messages, emails and voicemails (other companies have done the same), and the wonderfully refreshing difference was that La-Z-Boy actually showed up in the predicted window (they were supposed to arrive between 10:45am & 1:15pm, and they arrived at 11:00am).
The delivery people were friendly, careful and efficient. They had our new, AMAZING loveseat properly placed and assembled in minutes. The “lead” driver plugged in the transformer and showed me how to use the loveseat. He also went an extra step and showed me the safety feature for when something (pet, obstruction, etc.) gets underneath the reclined footrest and pops the mechanism off its track, and he showed me how to get it back on the track.
After five other deliveries, from other companies, that surprisingly & frustratingly showed up WAY before their projected time window, La-Z-Boy Delivery provided us with an on-time, stress-free, enjoyable delivery experience. Since day one it will not quit making loud clicking sounds when I slowly rock in it, maintenance has been out at least three times because the back keeps going flat, to re-stuff the cushions and the bottom right side of the leg extender, will not stay forward while the chair is reclined. Because I have a right arm missing and usually all recliners open from the right side, La-z-boy charged me close to $300.00 to switch the handle. After paying close to $1000.00 for a chair the employee recommended for someone with back problems, I take extremely good care of my belongings and not even THREE YEARS LATER I HAVE TO USE A PILLOW BEHIND MY BACK DUE TO THE LACK OF CUSHIONING IN THE RECLINER THAT I ASKED AHEAD OF TIME BEFORE PURCHASING, IF IT NEEDS TO BE STUFFED AT ALL AND THE SALESPERSON SAID NO. VERY VERY TYPICAL TO LIE TO A CUSTOMER JUST TO MAKE MONEY THESE DAYS. NOBODY CARES WHO THEY HURT OR TAKE...

We didn't think of the service that came with purchasing with La-Z-Boy, but they certainly exceeded our expectations. Our loveseat lost some of its cushioning after many years of wear. La-Z-Boy repair picked it up at no cost, installed new cushioning, did a deep leather cleaning that was beyond the service request, and delivered back to us within 3 days! Olivia and others made all the arrangements and provided a great quote, James did an amazing job on our loveseat, and Max and Brandon took care of the delivery.
