Another update: 1-2-25… we took our truck to Jack Kissee Ford for a second opinion. They had our truck fixed within the week and it was all covered UNDER WARRANTY. Riverside Ford kept saying my vehicle issues were a result of the aftermarket speaker and amp we had professionally installed a year ago and it wasn’t covered under warranty. We had enough of the run around from Riverside Ford so we went to Jack Kissee Ford in Claremore. I’m so glad we did. They were extremely professional and found out it wasn’t the speakers and amp. It was one of the main modules going out. It was fixed very quickly and all covered under warranty. Riverside Ford was wrong and had kept us without a vehicle for off and on over a month almost two. Do not go through Riverside service dept. They lost a 3 time repeat customer.
Updated review: bought this truck back in December. New off the lot. Plain and simple it’s a lemon. Have had nothing but electrical/computer problems and no one knows how to fix it. Brought it in the first time it had issues a month ago and they reprogrammed it a week later and said they weren’t sure if it would fix it. And if it messed up to bring it back. I was without a vehicle a week. Fast forward three weeks later the truck is worse than it was before. Losing power while driving 75 mph down the highway; can’t control steering during 5 o clock traffic. Very dangerous for us. We get the vehicle home. Go the next day to take the truck back in. Go to leave my house and the truck freaks out once again and now the truck is getting stuck on, won’t power off, every warning light possible is going off. We have to have it towed in. Now for the second time same issue. At first they tell us there is no loaner vehicle. Finally they pull some strings and get a loaner so we are not at foot. They tell us it will be a priority since this is the second time it is brought in for the same issue. Well here it is 2 weeks later and no one has even looked at the vehicle. What happened to it being a priority? Under the lemon law it has to be down multiple times for the same issue. I get told all they can do is reprogram it again. Ummm, that didn’t fix it last time!!! This truck is a POS. This is the third vehicle I’ve bought through them. This time $70,000 for a truck that is a lemon. I’m not satisfied with the truck or the service at riverside ford. I play phone tag all to be told “no update, we still haven’t looked at the vehicle, we are short handed” so I’m at their mercy it feels like. Do not recommend their service dept. I should have went somewhere else. You would think after being a repeat customer three times with brand new vehicles they would take care of me. No!
Also look at the responses from the bad reviews. It’s the same song and dance. “Call us to discuss this matter, blah blah blah…” IVE BEEN CALLING TO BE sent to...
Read moreJust wanted to share my experience for future customers to be aware of. Keep in mind I’m an Arkansas resident I did make the 4 hour drive to purchase a pre owned truck from this dealer. I bought a 2019 f150 5.0 10speed. The truck had 77k miles. Before purchasing I asked the sale guy could they please service the truck before picking it up. I did ask specifically could they flush the transmission fluid and replace with new fluid. With that being said I was advised by the sale guy that it’s not a good idea to do so. I asked why and he said the technicians advised against it and stated it could cause issues potentially. Needless to say I said that’s fine I want it serviced. Moving on I picked up the truck that evening did a little test drive and purchased the truck. Before I left town a check engine light popped on. I didn’t not turn around because it was already late in the afternoon and I was 4 1/2 hours from home. I figured it wasnt anything to worry about. Boy was I wrong half way home on the freeway at 75mph the gears would go from 10th to 1st gear! And throw a wrench code! So I pulled over turned the truck off and all was well. Well not even 5mins and it instantly did it again! At that point I smelled transmission fluid and pulled over again and sure enough there was fluid leaking from the transmission. With that said the had to drive it some at 50mph so it wouldn’t shift into 10th. All that said I didn’t not have a extended warranty which is my fault! Cause I couldn’t afford it. I paid 31k for the truck outright. I had high hopes it would be ok for the foreseeable future. Especially buying from a top tier dealership OR so I thought. End of the story I called the sales guy the next day and explained the situation. His response was polite but to the point! You should have got the warranty and he reminded me that the techs advised against the transmission being serviced. I was highly upset and was past arguing. I asked if there was anyway they would be able to help me out with the repairs and he said let him see what they could work up. Here we are now and they haven’t tried to help me at all! The truck is sitting at Everett Ford in Benton Arkansas and being diagnosed. Anyway it’s my loss and my problem. But beware if you plan on buying pre owned from these people...
Read moreMy husband and I had the best car buying experience in Riverside Ford of Tulsa! This is the best dealership to go to, most especially if you are a Hispanic or a veteran. Our past experiences made us dread going to a car dealership. When we went there on 12/23, we only accompanied my in-laws to buy their car. Jessy, the only bilingual sales rep in their dealership, helped out my in-laws (who prefer doing business in Spanish only) amazingly and efficiently! Everything has been done very smoothly and really fast! My husband, then tried to see if we could consolidate our loan for a car that was totaled due to a car accident in March (we did not have GAP insurance because the dealer that sold us that car did not explain GAP). Although that’s not what happened, Jessy and their finance department worked hard and was able to find a great trade-in for our 2016 Nissan Rogue with some issues (the dealer that sold this to us was not completely transparent about the issues that the car has). We had to go back the next day because we did not have enough time, as it was already 7 pm when my husband asked Jessy about our options. He showed us a Ford Escape 2020 that he said that we got pre-approved for. My husband and I did not have high hopes, as we were told in a car dealer before that we got approved for a car, then only to be told that we got denied after 7 hours of waiting! The next day, they immediately finalized everything once they opened, and Jessy told us the good news that we got approved and asked us to come in so that they can discuss everything about the deal. It was only a few dollars difference for what we were paying for the Rogue and this is a new one. They also was able to snag some rebates for us because my husband is an Army veteran. Towards the end, Randy, the director of operations, actually went to us and checked on us personally to make sure that we were taken cared of well. Another great thing is, when we noticed that the tires had low pressure and the service people already left, Jessy did not hesitate to go with us to Quiktrip to personally put air on our tires. Talk about going above and beyond! I definitely highly recommend Riverside Ford of Tulsa if you need...
