Great staff AND great facility! I've been a part of the TFS family for about 9 months and have seen some great results. Prior to coming to TFS, as a 50yo, I had little experience working out in a gym setting so I was nervous that I could actually do it once, let alone keep at it. The trainers made me feel welcome as a "newbie" and helped me as I learned the ropes (literally). Now I'm doing things I never thought I could do! One of the things that impresses me the most about the trainers is that when they are not leading the session themselves they often work out along with the group, side by side, same grueling workout, sweating like the rest of us. They lead by example. That motivates me. I also like the fact that I can show up and they've already planned the workout. I don't have to make it up myself. They keep their eye out and help correct form, and they're still very encouraging. They know you by name. That's a big deal. And finally, I want to say a word about my fellow TFS workout crew. There are people of all different ages, body types, and fitness levels - yet there doesn't seem to be any comparison or condemnation. Once we start the workout, we're all in it together, and again, I find motivation in my fellow TFS family even when I don't know everyone's name. So, all that to say, "Give it a go! You’re not just another number, another body, to fit a “quota” like other gyms—you’re a real human being and the people at Tulsa Fitness Systems get to know you and treat you as such! They are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! They KNOW their stuff, and regardless of your fitness level—whether you’re just trying to get off the couch or you never skip leg day—they will take the time to work with you to make sure you’re doing the workouts right for YOUR body. I have a connective tissue disorder, so they know how to help me make adjustments for what I can and can’t do when working out. I’m very impressed and grateful. Plus, I really need someone to just tell me what to do when I work out, otherwise I’ll just do the same old thing every time, which ultimately won’t benefit me much in the long run. The workouts change constantly, so my body is always reaping the benefits of the workout! This is also an incredibly fun atmosphere! They really practice what they preach there, and it shows. Read moreI have known about TFS over the years thanks to my dad and sister who have been working out at TFS. I’d occasionally jump on the bandwagon to go to one of their holiday workouts, but hadn’t committed to the intensity of the program until I got married. After getting married, my husband and I decided we needed to put in the effort to stay healthy and fit and decided to call TFS home! It’s not only literally close to our own home, but the variety of times for workouts works really well for our ever changing schedule. And it’s become a whole family affair, working out at TFS. Some of what we love about TFS is the encouragement and drive of our trainers—they know us by name, push us and guide us along the way throughout the workouts, which is just the push I need to finish well and finish strong. We also love the variety of workouts that TFS provides. Let me tell you, we NEVER get bored of the workouts at TFS. They are unique and provide just the right changes and challenges each month to keep working out fresh and even enjoyable. We love TFS!
