I would post pictures if I could, but I don't see an option to do so. The main problem is they never did the repairs that were promised. Sheetrock is still cracked in numerous places. The bathtub in the master bathroom has never drained properly. My mother cosigned for me to buy a trailer nearly four years ago and now they say my name isn't on the paperwork so I'm buying the house and it's not even in my name at all according towhat the lady said on the phone that works i brhe office at town and country. I wanted to remodel my bathroom. While doing so we removed the paneling around the bathtub. Part of what holds the tub is broken on one side and they left a hole around the plumbing big enough for a small child to crawl through. I'm not exaggerating on the size of the hole cut in the floor around the plumbing. I had someone cover the hole with a piece of wood and screw it down best we could do. That should have never been left that way and some great stuff should have been sprayed around the plumbing to close up the extra space around the plumbing which I don't believe was done when I asked someone to close up the big hole. It's a good thing I decided to remodel my bathroom (which still isn't finished because who started it never finished) or I would not have discovered the problem with the huge hole in the floor. I believe that was the cause of the infestation of mice we had. Literally I was catching about 5 mice in one day. Unfortunately for me that brought sickness and I won't go into all that as it is embarrassing. I will say I lost most of my hair due to the sickness caused from rodents. I would not recommend buying a trailer from these people. Regardless of who built the trailer they are responsible for the outcome of the building. They sent a few guys out here to do repairs and they came for a few days. They never finished. Also what they called themselves fixing is not fixed. The sheetrock is still cracked from the ceiling to windows all the way down to the floor in the bedroom and cracks in the sheetrock by the backdoor as well as other areas of the home. There's also a crack all the way across the ceiling in my kitchen. The repairs that were promised were never finished or fixed properly. Also I don't know if there's a break in my waterline or if it's just the water in this area is unsanitary, but the water that comes in the house is filthy and parasitic. Again I don't know if that's their fault or if it's the water companies fault. I paid for an upgraded door which obviously is not very upgraded with the amount of robberies I've encountered. Overall I'm not happy with the outcome and they never made it right. Seems to me they just want money and could careless about me or the home I bought from them. Moving into this trailer has been the biggest mistake of my life. It has cost me dearly and still is constantly costing me. The oven that came with the new mobile home only worked for about 3.5 years, but that's not their fault. The problem there is because I was told someone in the office would do the paperwork on the warranty of everything and I'm not sure that it was done either. I guess if they had properly done the repairs like they promised then it would have been okay, but...
Read moreI know I have told you all at Town and Country how grateful we are for everything you have done to walk us through this process. We where approved at another lot but there was no follow up from them and we didn’t like the terms. We shopped and shopped was told everything we wanted to hear, asked for large down payments that where unrealistic and quoted price that where no where near what we wanted. We had said we where done and not stopping at any more lots when we passed by and saw something catch our eye and it was the best stop we made. We walked in and waited, we could hear they where busy and almost walked out when Michael came out. He talked with us and found out what we wanted and then we looked at a few homes that actually was in our range. By the end of that first visit we finally new what we needed to be able to make our dreams come true and we left with the feeling we could really accomplish buying our first home. Michael and Danny Smith both knew we needed a little over a month to be ready and when Michael called to see how things where going for us I knew we where dealing with the right place. When time came and we where ready Town and Country Homes was on it. Every phone call was answered or returned quickly, every question was answered and nothing was promised that was not kept. We are now living in our dream and still when I have a question or concern about anything they are still just as quick to take care of it. We were blessed that everything came so fast they have wonderful people that work for them I recommend them daily....
Read moreWe first saw a home that interested us on Town and Country's FB page. We went to a local seller to see if they could get it and they could but the seller did not have the unit we wanted to see on it lot. We decided to drive 3.5 hours from TN to MS to see the home in person before ordering. We were only going to look that day. However, we were greeted by Melissa Robert's who asked what we were looking for and I told her certain "must haves" and she showed us not only the one we went to look at but several others. We wound up starting the process that day on our new home (one that we liked better than the one we wanted to look at to start with). There have been lots of questions along the way but Melissa answers me within just a few minutes when I text her to ask any questions, even while she was on vacation!! Everyone at Town and Country Homes of Tupelo has been great to work with. If you are in the market for a home, I would definitely recommend Melissa and all of the folks at Town and Country Homes...
