I will not be recommending this company to anyone I know. As well as asking our home insurance company to remove them from their vendor list. Our 89yo grandmother’s A/C unit broke 3 weeks ago, smack dab in the middle of the Central Valley heat wave. We were able to get repairs authorized within 24hrs, but we are STILL waiting on Ike’s to do the job. We have had to relocate our grandmother to our home because the extreme temperatures inside her house that have resulted in unlivable conditions for anyone at any age. This job was marked “high priority” by our insurance company but STILL the job has not been completed. I have had to make all the calls to the insurance company that Ike’s should be doing themselves. Unfortunately they are the only authorized vendor in our network for our insurance and can not seek an out of coverage vendor without paying 10’s of thousands of dollars out of pocket. Read moreI called their office and ask if they can help me with a loud noice in our Refrigerator, I was told that initial visit will cost $95, my understanding was if the problem was diagnosed and repaired the $95 usually is waived by any other business that I worked with for the last 40 years. After few days I talk to the representative named Lupita, and Ask for the estimate of the repair but she said she's not gonna give me the estimate unless I pay the none refundable $95. After I give her my credit card for the $95 she told me the cost will be over $500, I know for a fact this is one small part and it's not gonna cost more than $80 so this is a great way to make $95 by just visiting peoples home for five minutes. Read moreI called them to troubleshoot my GE refrigerator. The technician came out and was very friendly and on time. I explained to him that my ice maker and water dispenser was not working and that I had just replaced the filter. He was there troubleshooting for about 30min or so then came to the conclusion that the computer board needed to be replaced and he would give me a quote once he got the price. A day later I was given a quote over $650, instead I purchased a Home Warranty and filed a claim, they sent out a GE technician and he concluded that there was a disconnected wire and the filter was put in incorrectly.
