I will never spend another nickel here, ever again. The shop itself is OK. Some of the employees are OK as well. The problem is the owners kid. While claiming he is the owner (though it's clearly his father's business) he basically acts as though you are not worth scraping off his boot. There was a minor issue with my background check and he seemed purposely obstructive and unhelpful. I even got threatened with a trip to the end of the waiting line when I had an appointment one time, and asked if we could hurry it up a bit. He is ALWAYS snarky, never respectful. I need this kind of disrespect like I need a brain tumor. As I said, no more of my cash gets spent at Alquist Arms. One bad apple spoiled the barrel, and as the owners kid, will never get fixed. All the employees are really nice with customers, But owner he is so rude and disrespectful to customers. I purchased a firearm from them last week, his wife did my paperwork and told me they are out of ammo she will put note on my account they are out of ammo and I have to go back later to buy ammo when they have it. I went there today and talk to Owner and he told me they were never out of ammo for past 7 months. And his wife wouldn't say that and he has to check with her. He made me look like a lier in front of other customers. Then he went back and talked to his wife and then came back and he told me he didn't get that caliber for last 6 months. Which is I don't believe him since he said he never ran out of ammo for 7 months.
