BlueRock Farm Market — Local services in Twin Falls

This is a great little gem here in Twin Falls. Tons of local buying options for fruit, vegetables, meat, baked goods, etc. It’s close to perfect, but I have two suggestions for improvement.

First, anywhere else I have ever purchased produce, it is quite customary to provide sample so people know whether or not they want to buy it. Sometimes you have to ask (the grocery store), and sometimes it is readily available (often at farmer’s markets). I recently came here to BlueRock and was debating buying a large box of peaches. I asked if I could get a sample and was told no because “then we would have to do that for everyone.” It seemed a little silly that one slice of peach couldn’t be given in exchange for me possibly buying an entire bushel! Ironically, one of the reasons I was there is because the week previous they had watermelon samples out and it was so much better than the watermelons at Costco, that I decided to come back and buy one from BlueRock instead. In sum, I recommend providing samples—at the very least, at the request of customers.

Second, I would LOVE it if I knew a little bit more about the produce. Namely, where it was grown and whether it was sprayed. I have tried asking about spraying before and most every time it seems unknown. If the location of growing, and “spray-free” (if it is—I understand you might not want to advertise something as “sprayed” but advertising the opposite is appealing) was on the signs for each of the produce items, I would be even more inclined to buy produce...

One of the best roadside produce stands I have been to in a while! They offer a wide variety of vegetables and fruits- all locally grown! Inside, they offer fresh canned goods, local honey, syrups, jams, local meats as well as Idaho souvenirs. I went home with Honeycrisp apples, raspberries, peaches, pears, corn, russets, fingerlings, tomatoes and squash- all for a great price! Convenient location with easy access in and out. Plenty of parking. Very friendly service! Open until Thanksgiving, so I will definitely be back!!! Highly...

I've heard about BlueRock Farm Market awhile ago, but just recently visited for the first time. It's absolutely amazing!! Everything we bought was so fresh and tasty. Tomatoes, cucumbers, avocados, corn, peaches, grapes, watermelon....all fantastic quality and affordable! Being from Eastern Europe where we only eat produce from farmers markets, this is truly a great find. We already made a habit of going to BRFM every weekend. I recommend this place from the bottom...
