Kudos to Tammy, Terri, Lane/maintenance, Robert and the delightful cleaning woman whom I enjoyed thoroughly for their SMILES and customer service. They made the stay very nice. Fridge and cooktop are a plus! I risk being slammed for writing this but people need to know about the horrific pet smells on the first floor. ALL CARPET SHOULD BE REMOVED, especially the hallway to right of the check in desk. I have a legal service dog but the Mgr here, Stacey runs this property different than other MY PLACE locations by forcing all animals on first floor. Reason? "people have allergies". Ok. then REMOVE all carpet in every first floor room and in both hallways. Go smell near room 24 at end of hall. Several of the rooms were so bad upon checkin i was "allowed" to view another till I found a cleaner smelling one. I am VERY clean, ask Robert! If you are going to run your hotel this way, you MUST remove all carpet in rooms - the carpets are NOT cleaned between visits - and put the same wood like laminate down throughout the first floor. I saw HUGE dogs, cats, crates of animals during the almost two weeks here coming in and out. Not all people are clean, I get that, which is why the carpets must be removed to protect EVERY guest, even those with animals. Met several people staying on the 2nd and 3rd floors who allowed me to view and smell their rooms - REFRESHING! I hope this review is taken positively and the investors put out the money to redo floors on the entire...
Read moreNice and clean looking. It only had one end table in a 1 bed room which threw us off for a second but it wasn't that big a deal. Each room has a kitchenette in it which is very convenient for extended stays. Each room has an ice maker in their full sized fridge/freezer and it actually works and came in handy. Bathrooms were bigger than I've ever seen for a hotel and it was nice not feeling crowded whenever my husband and I both had to use the mirror and sink. They had a warm fuzzy blanket under the heavy bed spread for extra warmth in the winter which was nice. They are tailored to the hard of hearing or deaf in the sense that the rooms have a master switch on the wall. Not exactly sure what it does (I've never had to use it) but its there. Lastly, although breakfast is not free, it is still a really cool service. They cook to order and deliver to your room which means you don't have to worry about rushing down to get a decent meal and only getting scraps because you were "too late". The only difficulty was that their website gave false info about check in/check out times and we got charged an extra night for checking out at the wrong time. Stupid mistake but someone had to pay. Wish it wasn't us. All in all, I would would say the stay is worth it and...
Read moreStayed last week. The hotel itself looks newer, so it is in good condition and looks nice. The room was clean, up-to-date, and had nice furniture and amenities. The room was a actually a kitchenette with two burners and a full size fridge. The beds were very comfortable and clean; the mattresses, sheets, and blankets appeared newer and had no stains or anything on them. The hotel also had a little store in it with drinks, snacks, and traveling items. I thought the prices we’re going to be absurd, but the prices were cheaper than some department stores! The staff were friendly, personable, and attentive. The location is good; it’s quiet, since it’s separated a bit from the town, and is a good distance from the town’s amenities. The price seemed to be average, but this hotel gives you more for your money than competitors. I feel like the whole “My” marketing fits the chain well; you will really feel like you can customize your experience here to make your stay comfortable. Overall, this hotel is probably the best...
