We just got done playing 9 holes in the wind and rain with one other group on the whole course. Which wasn't behind us. Took our time, had some bad shots since it was our first time out in over a year. Had to go retrieve bad shots but took our time since it was 45° in the middle of June. Had some good conversation and just enjoyed the leisure of playing golf on a day off when we didn't have to be rushed. When we got back into the club house, 3 hours later, got chastised for playing for so long and we "must have played more than 9 holes because we were out there for more than 3 hours". Tee off at 1045a and got done at 1330. Said she could see us driving all over the course so we must have played more than 9 holes. We were retrieving our bad shots. First time out in more than a year, so we had a few. Didn't know we were on a time limit with an empty course. Thought Twin Falls municipal course would be happy we payed $40 for 18 on a weekday in the rain and wind. Apparently when you play there, you are on the clock, according to Margareet. This course is one of the less challenging courses but is usually in great condition. It has a couple difficult holes but overall it's a very manageable layout. And the clubhouse staff are always nice and helpful. I'll continue to golf here until they kick me...
