The Funky Shack Mercantile and Flower Market — Local services in Tyrone

I stopped into the flower shop/mercantile when visiting the coffee shop next door. At the time I was looking for someone to make my bridal bouquet and boutonnière. I asked about the prices and was introduced to I believe her name was Dawn. She was very nice when I met her and I was able to share what I was looking for and told her my wedding date and plans. She gave me their card and told me to email all the details and she would be happy to help me. I was quoted around $285 for what I was asking for (so not a small price). After getting home I looked at the Instagram page(like she told me to) and emailed inspiration pictures and the details to the email address she provided me. I sent two emails that included my phone number. I never received an email or call back. I called the store and left a voicemail and still did not receive a call back. I can’t help but feel that she just did not want to help me with my flowers and that I was lied to when she said she would. I would have appreciated someone responding and letting me know that they could not help me. I gave up after waiting about a week and found a very nice local florist that I was able to book for 1/3 of the price I was quoted here. Came here on a recommendation from PTC just before Valentine's Day. Sam at the register, told me they don't do flowers! How can you have "Flower Market" in your business title if you don't do Flowers? I was then told to go to Trilith. There I was told they only do high volume 100+ Stems of the same flower. Thought that was the end of it! Until recently someone had asked in the Local PTC bubble on Facebook what a good florist was. Apparently some people have received flowers from this location. Furthermore when I shared that they didn't do Flowers here, some people told me they don't do Prom offerings. I fail to see how a Bouquet for Valentine's Day is a Prom offering. I just want to know why was I discriminated against? And furthermore why I was lied to? Apparently the owner has asked the group to delete my replies when they do not go against the group's rules! Thank you to The Funky Shack for brightening my Mother's 81st Birthday! The flower arrangement was literally STUNNING! My mother said that the flower arrangement was the most beautiful and unique flower arrangement she had ever seen and that the flowers were gorgeous! My momma said "wow! they must import their tulips from Holland because I have only seen tulips like this in Europe!" And I told her that yes! The owner does import the flowers...lol It truly made her day so much brighter and I loved the way she stared at the flowers and touched them and said "these are straw flowers!" And "God makes all kinds of flowers so beautiful!" My heart was overjoyed watching momma as she looked at this beautiful flower arrangement!
