We just went to the Mad Hatters Haunt for kids day and really enjoyed it! My 9 year old son isn’t fond of scary things, and he still has a hard time distinguishing between what is real and what is fake. Kids Day helped to show him the “magic” behind the haunt, and all the production that goes on behind the scenes. The employees were friendly and great at describing what goes on during the haunt. I loved that they took time to describe everything and took a gentle approach to it. My kiddo had a great time and I think it helped him understand how it worked and how the employees were only actors. The cost is appropriate for what is delivered, however, in regard to the haunt itself it was dissapointing; short, lacking in props/asthetic detail within rooms, children actors, and non-actors spaced throughout took away from any attempt to be scary. Moreover, spacing was an issue with groups coming up on eachother in the haunt.
