Union Grove Floral — Local services in Union Grove

First my dad called to get flowers for my mom for their 30th anniversary. They said they couldn’t do it they were no longer taking delivery orders for the day. This was around 12:30. So it told him no problem that’s understandable I’ll go in and pick up an arrangement and drop it off for him. So I go in with my two toddlers in tow stand at the floral desk only to be ignored. Then I ask the lady handling the mums if she’s the florist. She says yes but I don’t have time to help you. I have a delivery to do. And an order that came in. I told her I just needed some flowers to be put in a vase. She wouldn’t do it. Please don’t advertise that you are a full service floral shop if your not. This is the second poor experience I’ve had. I’ve shopped at the UG pig my whole life it’s super disappointing to continually receive poor service from their floral shop.

I have edited my review as the owner has responded. I really appreciate that. I was able to grab flowers that were in the case that day and still drop them off. But because the florist was unable to help me put them in a vase. I had to buy them, put my kids back in the car. Drive home get the kids out to put the flowers in the vase. Put the kids back in the car. Drive to my moms work. Get the kids out . Deliver the flowers. Then drive back home it was just very frustrating. I do appreciate the response though and understand the staffing shortage...

Relative from out of town ordered flowers for me. Specifically ordered a vase with a large bouquet of full carnations with NO roses. This is what was sent. You can see by the pictures what I was supposed to receive and what I actually received. They didn't order hard to find or obscure flowers, they ordered carnations! Whoever is managing this shop should be embarrassed by this. I will never recommend this florist to anyone. Go to Pick n' Save, you'll get the right flowers for half of what these cost. If you're from out of town do not use this florist. Shame on you UG Floral, flowers are things that can turn someone's day around and when someone can't be there in person and entrust you with the job you should go above and beyond to do that. Beyond disappointed. I spent over $50 on a floral arrangement that was for a anniversary. They should have been all large carnations only. The floral arrangement that showed up was absolutely embarrassing. It looked like a 5 year old went to the garden and picked flowers. It was tiny baby roses ( which were not supposed to be in the arrangement at all) tiny baby carnations. I can’t even believe the florist let this leave and they were ok with the job they did. AWFUL!
