2nd bad customer experience with the same lady working. 2nd time was today, Sunday October 27th, in the morning. My assessment is if she doesn't know me personally, I' m getting the silent treatment. From the moment I walk in, I cheerfully say good morning, she just stares at me blankly, to the time I check out, where again she is mum. That was my 1st experience. Today is the way she handled a follow-up phone call. I grab angel food cake mix and it was placed in the hand basket. Checkout time, it wasn't in the basket when I put the basket back in it's place by the front doors of the store while she's ringing my items up. Wasn't offered a receipt. The cake mix is not in my bags when I get home. Not in the car either. Call the store. Same cashier answers. She just sits in silence after muttering it's not there. The couple behind me probably got a bonus. So, not only did I pay a heftier price for shopping in this store, but now I am out an item I know went on that belt. From here on out, each and every time I need something, I will ALWAYS spend the time and gas to go to Meijer or Family Fare where I have good customer service experiences and come home with everything I pay...
Read moreI used to go here when the old owner owned the store they USED to have the best meat and the most freshest meat around but with the new owners this place has really gone down hill and fast. The store is always freezing cold but the coolers are always hot. All the good things Dennis used to carry the new owner got rid of and raised the prices so high that I save money driving 25 mins to meijers now. I have thrown away over $300 in spoiled meat, cheese, and milk. In the last 3 months I have seen multiple packages of meat being black and only days after being packaged up and before expiring date. The bacon is always a dark brown some canned goods on the shelf expired. It’s really sad to see our local grocery store go down...
Read moreSmall village life. The prices have ALWAYS been high and now they are even HIGHER especially with the cheaper items. A gallon of Hawaiian punch almost $4 where other stores including the dollar stores its $2. Bread $2.50 everywhere else $2. I have a big family and feed others around me who are without so it's really hard to shop there. I've been ordering a lot of things online, sad to say because I'd rather be giving to a local business. With all that I do have to say the old owner and the new owner are super nice and go above and beyond to try to get you what you need. Also, they have the best meat there. The butcher is really nice as well as the rest of the...
