Horrible experience! I've played LF for at least 25 years and have NEVER been treated like this. A friend left a message with the "pro shop" to arrange for 3 tee times for a group of 11 women to play 18 holes this week. They had her phone number because they called her back to confirm the reservation. We all arrived for our tee times and only then were we told that they were aerating the back 9 so we could only play the front 9. No, we couldn't play the front 9 twice. No, we had to use our Tee Time book so we got a "better" rate rather than a walk-in rate for 9 holes. No, they would not give us a rain check for playing 9 holes another time. The heavy man, whom I assume is the manager, lied to our face saying there was no way to contact the woman who arranged our tee times to let her know that we could only play 9. Yet, LF called her back to confirm the tee times, so they obviously had her phone number. And then he had the nerve to mansplain why they couldn't let us know/give us a rain check/let us play the front 9 twice. It was not busy that day so there's no excuse for not being more accommodating. The other man "gave" those who didn't waste our Tee Time book playing 9 holes a $1 "discount." What poor customer service! All 11 women were extremely disappointed with LF and could not believe that a manager could treat customers so...

However my girlfriend and I tried to show up for a round of golf without a tee time when there was no more than 10 cars in the parking lot and only saw one group playing. When we went in the worker in the pro shop with tats on his neck and piercings was getting upset at a group for having added another golfer and not calling and the guy said he called and had no answer, the worker was making it that it was the groups fault. Then when we went up to pay for a round he was insisting on us joining a two-some because we didn’t book, I decided not to pay to golf when there was no one at the course and wouldn’t take a walk in. I’m not going to be coming back to the course because of this workers attitude towards his customers and was very rude. When we went to the pro shop to pay we were told that we could only play 9 due to greens being aerated. However we were also told that we would be charged for 18. We then asked for a 9 hole credit and the manager very rudely told us no. We asked why we weren't informed of this and he said he didn't have the phone #. That 's very interesting because a message was left requesting another tee time and they returned our call to confirm the additional tee times. Not only do they steal , they lie. How dare they overcharge for something that they created and not offer any compensation. We were only able to play 9 holes but we're charged for 18!
