Antique Treasures — Local services in Upper Bern Township

Been to this store 4 times, months apart. Would have given it a great review until today. Our last visit, about 30 mins after we left, we couldn't remember paying for our items, which totaled $10. Right away we called and asked. The last said she wasn't sure either so we offered to come right back. She said don't worry about it. Just pay it next time you're back in the store. She said this KNOWING we only come every couple months and NOT KNOWING IF WE PAID OUR NOT. We again offered to come right back and she said no again. That was about a month ago. Today I was in the Dollar General nearby and she stopped me ....I thought to say hello. I smiled and said hello. But then in front of everybody in the front of the store, she started in on me. She said You never came back with that $10. I said oh, we agreed I'd bring it next time we came in and you said that was fine. She then said why don't you give it to me right now?! I said sorry but I only brought a $20 with me and already paid for my items but we can come in this weekend if you need us to. She said .....I know where you live.... OMG Over $10 I told her we will be in on the weekend and bring it to you but we will never be back to shop there. Embarrassing me in public, not talking quietly, threatening that she knows where we live, and all after SHE told us just bring it in whenever. NOT what I'd call friendly. Hope she's nicer to the cats than she is...

I wish I could live here, we were in town for a reptile expo and loved this place so much we had to stop in one more time on our way out of town. We waited to leave town until they opened for the day even. This is the best antique/treasure store ever. It has a good bit of everything, not just a focus on one thing. The owners are fantastic people, my husband and I are heavily tattood, pierced, extreme hair etc and they treated us like family, didn't bat an eye. But we know how to act too, we are respectful and polite so that helps. But they are so nice and interesting and truly interested in what you have to say. True collectors and story tellers, not just flippers and money makers. They connect with the items and customers. The flowers beds around the shop....and kitties.....can't have treasures without kitties. No pressure sales, so be sure to visit. You'll definitely find a 5 dollar memory...

The very nicest of people. I stopped in to ask a question about another business in the area. The 3 women I spoke with were so helpful and friendly. I poked around in the store and found a Matchbox car I wanted. They have it to me at a price I couldn’t refuse. Next time I am on the area, I will stop...
