Riverboat Saloon — Restaurant in Upper Bern Township

I tried to park at the Love's for a layover, but it was jam-packed so I ended up parked on a dirt road. I decided to venture out and found this place. The listed hours are wrong (I hope the owner fixes that, this place deserves attention). It looks closed from the front so you have to go around back. The atmosphere is a bit dark and gloomy (seems to have a bit of a pirate theme? It worked for me), but the music, pool and wall-to-wall decorations will keep you busy and definitely liven the place up. The locals keep to themselves mostly, but I didn't exactly go out of my way to strike up a conversation so take that however you will. The bartender was friendly, and still made me feel at home while she took breaks to play pool. It looked like they served pizza and probably other simple bar foods. Not sure what as I didn't order anything, but decent grub/snacks are always a plus. Best part is that the drinks are poured very generously (if the owner reads this, NO, the bartender isn't trying to give the house away 🤣), and they're very inexpensive. A double Tito's and a shot of rup for 8 bucks? That's unheard of. I will definitely be coming back here given the chance.
