Sharp Shopper Grocery Outlet — Local services in Upper Leacock Township

I do like Sharp Shopper but unfortunately like many places, their prices have increased and I'm disappointed to see how much of their inventory has changed. They used to have a great deal on turkey burgers where you would get a big box for a low price now their prices are almost in tune with general supermarkets. It's almost the same as Grocery Outlet (great low prices when they first appeared but now not so much). Don't get me wrong, I will still shop at Sharp Shopper for some things but it's become a not so regular stop anymore. You see, these grocery Outlet stores served as an affordable way to shop as we would find ourselves spending over $50 for say, 10 items in the general stores like Giant and Weis but now it seems we're almost equal. Took complete advantage of customers during this inflationary period, they marked up 125% for equivalent 6 percent inflation to take advantage of the influx of customers who couldn't afford a lot. You are paying 85% the price for food that is expired, any deal is a gamble and potentially inedible or a product that failed miserably due to a corporations attempt a new flavor. All of sharp shoppers food is obtainable elsewhere at the same price but they just have the stuff that is nearly illegal to sell because no other store can. I was very disappointed in this establishment as a WHOLE if I could give it no stars I would but the limit is one so that’s what I have to do. First off the food is expired I ordered yellow swiss cheese however it was green and black I have never in my 42 years of living seen black and green Swiss cheese but if that’s what you like and what you’re looking for then this is the place. Secondly they call themselves a “discount store” however everything here is the same price as Walmart or grocery outlet. Where’s the discount at because I sure cannot find it. Lastly the customer service is disrespectful and rude they have no consideration or respect for their customers but somehow expect for us to respect them.
