Basement Builders of the Lehigh Valley — Local services in Upper Saucon

I contracted with Basement Builders who also go under the name of Lehigh Valley Interior Construction to add a bathroom in our basement, create a gym space and an additional room.

I’ve recently come to learn that they should have requested permits to do the work and had the work inspected. I was told by Bob this wasn’t required and it just seems so lazy not to have done it the right way.

Apart from that and a leaky shower valve which they don’t seem to want to fix the team were good. Having just finished a project with a different firm for a new en-suite I can see more clearly how things should be done (Lehigh Valley Renovations are excellent).

Bob will get the job done but the process is poor in regards to planning and scheduling, communication is lacking and there’s a bit too much emotion involved when solving problems.

Hopefully Bob will retire and let his brother take over he seems to do most of the work anyway. The people he has working for him were good guys too hence...

I cannot overstate how disappointed and aggravated I am with this company. They finished my mother’s basement, and within two years, their shoddy, corner-cutting work led to over a thousand dollars in damage. What kind of “professional” leaves a job so poorly done that it falls apart in that short amount of time? Now, ever since the job is done, they won’t answer the phone.

They clearly prioritized speed and profit over quality and safety. If you value your home, your money, and your peace of mind, do not hire this company. They won’t be bothered to help you out once they’re out and they’ve been paid. Completely untrustworthy, unprofessional, and unfit...

Basement Builders at LVIC did a wonderful job finishing our basement. They were easy to work with and all of their staff were extremely talented, reliable, and professional. They created an amazing space for our family to relax and entertain with a bar, game room, tv area, bathroom, bedroom, and gym. The project management was excellent and they provided us with weekly updates on the project. We were very pleased with every aspect and now we have a new living space that we absolutely love!
