First time visiting this fair. We were visiting royalty from Hardin County. At the entrance we were greeted with smiles and directed to parking. They also had volunteers in the parking area, where this wonderful man directed us to a parking spot AND got us a volunteer driver to take us around the fair for a tour! The driver was awesome and had knowledge of the fair. We visited the barns and they had lots of airflow and fans for the animals. The barn isles were clean and mostly clear for people to walk through. The building was in good shape. Lots of trees with benches and picnic tables for sitting out of the sun. Plenty of food trucks to choose from. Their bathrooms were nice and clean. We didn’t get a chance to meet any royalty there, but understood their responsibilities. When we got back to the car, we saw the man that was helping parking was just as active as when we got there and gave him a cold bottle of water, which he drank. The staff and volunteers that were there were wonderful and so friendly, it made this one of the best fairs we have been to this year! This made our 12th Ohio county Fair that we visited. Will be going back!

We had an absolute blast at the Champaign County Fairgrounds! The atmosphere was electric, and the entire family had a wonderful time. The food was absolutely delicious - we tried everything from classic corndogs to Pepperoni and cheese pizza. every bite was a treat. The kids (and let's be honest, the adults too!) had an amazing time on the rides, screaming with delight on the rollercoaster and spinning rides. The fairgrounds were clean and well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find our favorite attractions. We can't wait to come back next year and do it all again! Highly recommend for a fun-filled day out with the family."

I love going to the fair and even when I lived in Springfield I would wait until the Champaign County Fair would come around. After the mid 1990s the Clark County Fair lost half it's rides and started sucking big time! This past year we brought my nieces and nephew, and my 4 year old niece was freaking out as soon as we got into the parking lot. She kept saying " I'm SO excited. I'm SO excited!" It was so cute! We had fun seeing the animals and they couldn't get enough of the rides.

Have always liked the fair. Some years it is fabulous and sometimes it is underwhelming. This year for me it was not the greatest. The merchants building was ok but not a lot of people their offering information on what they were trying to promote. Tuesday was free lunch day and they certainly had a lot of people but not enough room to accommodate them. I came out for that and it was so crowded I decided not to attend. I enjoyed walking around though and seeing some old friends. I think I will go in the evening next year and maybe find it a little...
