Winds were in the 40s when we visited, so we didn't walk around outside. But we did visit the hatchery building and got to touch and feed some of the fish. Very nice and knowledgeable workers there.

It was a beautiful place, I just wish the frogs/etc they advertised were there but other than that I enjoyed feeding the rainbow trout and seeing the different kinds of fish, and turtles.

My grandchildren love visiting the hatchery everything we camp at Lewis and Clark Campground, never gets old. The highlight is always being able to feed the fish.

We were camping in the area and wanted to check out the fish hatchery. It was a great experience. We asked one of the workers a couple of questions, and he asked if our group of 8 adults and 2 small children would like a tour. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. He even gave the kids free food for the trout. The facilities were very clean and inviting. The aquarium has a good selection of fish...

Even better when they have the buildings open for tours. However, off season still worth a visit. Several outside runs teem with brood stock trout. Have some quarters and a cup so you can buy fish food from the machine and feed the always hungry trout. We also saw several wild turkeys just strolling across the grounds. We...

A must stop for all ages. You need to go down by the ponds where they actually grow the fish. You can see the egg process and the raising of the fish. You may even get to be involved with the feeding of them. The visitation center has a nice little walk through to see the common species of the river. It also has nice bathrooms and yes its free. I try to stop...
