Dollar General — Local services in Valdosta

Okay store. Employees are friendly but often talk loudly to other employees and friends who come into the store while they are checking people out. Never have enough cashiers between 5-6 PM when there is always a long line so that "chatting" can get especially annoying. Also, vendors are taking up a lot a space with their.displays near the cash register making it very crowded, especially on the left as you enter the store. Store is not nearly as clean and organized as it was a few years ago when it was built but it's much cleaner than a lot of Dollar General stores. This review is really meant for management/corporate. I see by the comments closing early is a thing. If the door says 10 then 10 is the time! Y'all walking out the door at 10 is not what closing time is. This is lazy behavior and a bad reflection on whomever the store manager is. And to have a bad attitude with customers because you locked tolhe doors early is top tier classless. If inconveniencing patrons is what you love to do why are you working at a job that causes you to get off at night? Low prices plus they have the dollar general digital coupon app. You click on the coupons that you want to use in the app or web browser and that's it. When you go in the store all you have to do is type in your phone number that you used when you created your account and it automatically accepts the coupon and saves you money.
