The Market At Hidden Meadows — Local services in Valley Center

We were in town for the week of Thanksgiving, staying at a local Airbnb in Valley Center. It got too late and we did not want to travel on those windy roads so we decided to order and have DoorDash deliver. We ordered several pizzas which were all good an Asian salad, a chicken sandwich which we were really looking forward To enjoying period unfortunately, the sandwich was not in the bag when the delivery guy had already left. I don’t know if it was the restaurant that That missed it or if it walked away with the driver? We will never know my daughter did call, The employee who answered, was very kind and responsive, and immediately returned the credit. Our pizzas were very good, so was my salad, the bag, and the pizzas were not sealed so it makes me wonder what happened even so the food was good and that’s what mattered. I do recommend it if you are in the area I wish we could’ve gone in ourselves. The menu looks quite lovely with lots of choices, but not too many that you are left with your hands up I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️! I meant to take pictures, but we were pretty hungry, so I didn’t take pictures till the next day of our leftover pizza which we enjoyed...

Where to begin here... this is the original market in the lot, the market across from here opened its doors to offer some sort of competition but it's basically a souless version of this place, but honestly as far as products offered they are basically identical. Typical unhealthy food and drink you would find at a gas station is how I would summarize what's offered here. Nothing offered here is actually high quality, or a good price aside from some beer. Everything costs more than it should. Alex, the owner of this place is a nice guy but it doesn't make this a good place if I'm being honest and he's not the only person who works here and he's not always working. I've ordered pizza here a few times and while it does in a pinch it is some of the worst and most overpriced pizza I've ever had. It also takes 30 minutes every time, even if the store is completely dead off-hours. You are better off driving somewhere further away if you want good pizza, and honestly you will be paying less. Hell, even some frozen pizzas are better and much cheaper. I've gotten expired food here so always check the dates if you still decide to come here, but I don't recommend...

I'm not sure who wrote the other reviews but all I can say is it had to be friends and family. Do not go here, the food is inedible and the service is dismissive and unprofessional if service were even to exist. The item I ordered was burnt and over cooked and when I told the server I couldn't eat it i was just asked Why Not? The only thing that would save this place would be to shut down and rehire.
