Jefferson County Fair Grounds — Local services in Valley Falls

These facilities are used by our county 4h kids, and to be honest, I am part of the program. The main building is used year round, and used for auctions, various judgings, and other gatherings. It is heated and cooled, a nice airy open facility. There are the usual complement of animal buildings, older but in good repair. These are used for various 4h competitions during the year. There is also a nice, smaller horse arena that is in frequent use through the year. A couple other buildings,the concession stand and horticulture building are used only during the fair and are generally "off limits" the rest of the year.
