I had my wedding reception at Sherwood Forest on August 14, 2021. Patty was nothing but an ANGEL throughout the whole process leading up to my wedding day. If I can give her and her husband business more then 5 star review, I DEFINITELY would, without any hesitation at all! As a bride to be, your wedding day can and will be hectic because you want it be great and go smoothly and Patty definitely understood that. She was VERY understanding and helped any way she could from start to finish just to lift some of that bride-to-be stress of my shoulders without even me having to ask! She answered any questions or concerns I had, whether it was through a phone call, text message or even meeting in person. If you are looking for a place to host or plan your next event whether its your wedding day, retirement party, birthday, baby shower and etc. Then look no further! Sherwood Forest Event Center is the place for you! I know that might have sound cheesy but I am genuinely glad I went with Sherwood Forest Event Center to have my wedding reception/celebration. My son and his new wife recently had their wedding reception at the Sherwood Forest Event Center. We could not have asked for a nicer people to work with. Patty went out of her way to accommodate us. The staff was so friendly. We had prepared cookies for a large cookie table. We delivered them the day before in containers and Patty and her staff plated them for us. it looked absolutely beautiful. They have remodeled the event center and it looks very nice with the crystal chandelier. The bar is large to accommodate a big party. Our guests raved about the food. I liked the fact that the floor is all the same so you could easily push back tables and make the dance floor even bigger if need be. The Bedford Class of 69 just had their 50th Reunion at Sherwood Forest this week, and the evening exceeded all our expectations. The space was perfect for our group, from hanging out at the hi-tops by the bar, to the elegantly dressed tables surrounding the dance floor, to the small private room in the back where folks could sit in a quiet area to chat. The Food....was fabulous! Not one complaint....which is rare in a large group! Best of all, the staff accommodated our gluten free and vegetarian folks so they were able to enjoy a delicious meal as well.
