I attended the Practical Nursing Program at the Ted Scott Campus. My experience within the program was by far one of the worst experience of my life. The nursing administration is disrespectful, lacks communication, fails to take accountability, and overall made the experience horrible. The Dean abused her authority throughout the entire program, attempted to coerce me, and disrespected me on multiple occasions. Depending on the class you take and the instructor that teaches theory you will teach yourself throughout the program, this does strengthen your knowledge but as a consumer that paid for the program I figured the instructors would take the initiative to teach the material. Also half of the instructors were rude and created a hostile learning environment for students. When you advocate for yourself to administration you are treated in an ill-manner and look at as a hassle. Please be aware of the treatment you will be receiving and mentally prepare yourself if you choose to enroll in the nursing...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if I could . Professors are not helpful, they are too busy to stay after class and speak to you about topics you may not understand. The staff of administrators and teachers have poor communication. You will hardly ever speak to anyone on the phone as they do not answer . I’ve had a professor who simply did not respond to emails for up to a week. Teachers will not accommodate you if you are having outside issues and facing classwork conflict. Professors show up late to class and are upset when students leave after the 15 minute period. I have complained to administration office numerous times about a specific professor RASHEDA ASKEW and no changes were made. If you have a issue with a professor they will simply tell you that the profs are allowed to conduct their classroom the way that they please. These people don’t deserve your hard earned money and the subpar education speaks for itself . A true disgrace to the community college...
Read moreHorrible communication. Horrible class scheduling. I signed up for a course 3 weeks in advance. The day the class was gonna start it still stated TBD. I had to call them to find out what was going on. The office was confused and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. I later received a call stating that one of my courses cancelled which automatically cancelled an adjourning course. The rumors are true. They suck! ... It's simply a lousy organization... Just give me my money back and never worry about me ever telling anyone to attend this second-rate school or trying to take a course...
