Ordered yellow perch, bass and grass carp 3/18, to be delivered to Burlington Iowa 4/22/19. Get a call at 6:39 am stating my perch were not on the truck, they couldn't tell me why but they weren't. Things happen!! Get a call from Brandon 4/27 stating a truck would be back in the Burlington area 5/15. It's a 45 minute trip down and I had to work, so that didn't work. However they were scheduled in Ia. City Iowa 5/11 12-1pm. Again 40 minutes north. But the truck would be heading south on Hwy 218/27 after and could meet at Ainsworth Four corners truck stop, 9 minutes west of my pond!! Perfect, they would call me when leaving Iowa City to meet, get fish and pay. Called Brandon around 2:30-3pm, no answer. Left message. Since it is now 5:10 PM 5/11/19 I'm assuming the truck is long gone and back in Missouri without contacting me or dropping my order. Looks like northern Iowa fisheries will have my business...

We stopped by this cute and friendly tackle shop on the way to Mark twin lake. Vince was extremely knowledgeable and generous. The jig he recommended worked awesome and we caught our first 18inch bass within the first couple try. Not to mention that all of the fishing spots he pointed us to were hidden gems. We ended up staying an extra night in town since the experience was great. Definitely recommend all fisherman to check out this place! Make it your first stop before you hit the lake and they will get you well prepped for...
