I really did not want to leave a bad review, but given the circumstances of my child's appointment and front desk staff, I think it is important. I have been to this office a few times for facials, which were amazing, so I thought I would bring my child in when he had a cyst that needed attention. I called to see if they accepted 6 year old patients and if they could do a cyst removal on my child's lower lip line. The girl on the phone put me on hold, and came back and said yes. I proceeded to book my appointment. When we came in, 20 mins prior to our appointment (as requested) and had about 10-12 other patients who came in after us and were seen before us, AND finished. Now, I understand there are multiple doctors here, but once we reached an hour and 15 mins PAST our appointment time, we started to ask what the hold up was. After the front desk girl told us 3 different reasons, we decided to ask for our $100 copay back so we could leave. The reason then was "there aren't any doctors there at the time that will treat a child." This turned into a fiasco itself, and after FINALLY getting a receipt for the refund, we left. A few days later, someone from the office reached out to me, apologized and asked us to come back in so we gave it another chance. I came in, my son was seen immediately JUST for them to tell us they couldn't treat him because of his age...charged my insurance over $100 and have sent us a bill for $47.17 in addition to the money they collected from my insurance. My husband called to dispute this, seeing how we were lied to just to get us to come in TWICE so they could collect money from my insurance, and was told there wasn't anyone he could speak to and they would call us back but was putting a note on the file that we're refusing to pay any more money for wasting our time, and no service was rendered. TODAY, I receive another letter requesting the $47 be paid or it is going to collections because they "haven't heard from us", which is not the case at all. This is taking advantage of people just to get them in the door to...
Read moreI have a negative review on a dermatologist on The Island in Venice. His practice is Dr WassermanUlitsky Dermatology. The reason for giving a negative review is due to how badly I was treated my last visit there a few weeks ago. I was going there for the last 2-3 years and was previously happy there as the staff was always friendly towards me & my small service dog. This time it was a nightmare. (The office staff acted annoyed to see him, which prior to this visit they were interacting w him & saying how cute he is, so it must be new staff now.) I was waiting in the lobby to be called into a room when a very rude woman came out, and in front of all the other patients waiting, she condescendingly said "oh, you can't bring your dog into a room!" I was stunned and replied "Why not?" She then started a litany of "dogs shed and then we have to clean the room because some people are allergic to dogs"! I told her "that's not my problem- he's a certified service dog & an ESD and I can take him anywhere I want by law." She argued saying that's not true. I replied that I could call the ADA, and an attorney, who could explain to her about violating federal law. She then walked away in a huff...and came back 10 mins later saying my room was ready! I was treated in a very disrespectful manner and in front of others causing me embarrassment! When I got into the room I told Dr Wasserman about it and he just brushed it off and didn't even give me an apology!! He just muttered that it was a personality conflict! So if you have a service dog I recommend that you not go to his office!! Needless to say, I'm seeking a new dermatologist where I'll be treated...
Read moreDr Ulitsky came highly recommended for skin cancer screening for my husband We were new to the area. We had recently been to another dermatologist in the area who said my husband had no issues. Skin was fine. We knew that was wrong. Even I knew several were suspicious Dr Ulitsky is amazing. She identified and tested over 10 suspicious growths. All were either basal cell or Squamish. While I was waiting for my husband I started looking at the literature in the waiting room for various non surgical procedures and products offered. Dr a Ulitsky and staff are the best around. I’ve been to several others in the Boston area. Some good, some bad. Dr Ulitsky and staff surpass all of them I decided to go for the microneedling with PRP Unbelievable! I get compliments on my skin all the time now. I typically have dry Irish skin. I’m blown away. My hairdresser said, what’ve you been doing? (And you know they see you at your worst ) I wish I had before and after photos. I had a very large patch of those ugly age/sun spots on the right side of my face. I watched them literally peel off after the microneedling. There are still a few tiny dots but I’m blown away Dr Ulitsky has also helped me with Botox and fillers. I couldn’t be happier. I had someone in Boston overfill and it was horrible. This is so natural. If Dr Ulitsky thinks you don’t need it, she won’t do it She takes so much pride in all she does and is so warm and caring If you’re even just thinking about any of these procedures, go at least for a consultation. ...
