So nice to go to the place that was so awesome when I was growing up. I was a teenager and loved running around Friendship chasing boys. I had so much fun. On June 19, 2022, I get there at 11am. It was not packed. Lots of booths with many items to buy. Last day of the event. I made my way to the booth at the end of all rows to buy a famous Friendship t-shirt. Got it for 20 bucks. Everyone was friendly and eager to sell since it was the last day. I seen numerous vendors leaving by noon. So if you go in June or September, try to go the first weekend of it to see it all.. There were good vendors too. No buffalo burgers that I could find. I did get a classic, well known ice cream cone on the way out. Got a lot of items mostly small things I needed for sewing, home maintenance, entertainment. I just love going to Friendship but of course you could tell gas prices had an affect on the amount of vendors this year. I will go back. It's not far. Lots of people from Ohio there. Parking was easy and only 3 bucks. An ATM on site too. Tom Kerr was not there of course since he has since passed away. I remember him in the 80's. Cool guy and loved to help others while at Friendship. You got to go, lots of items to...
Read moreThere were a few racist hillbillies around friendship that is for sure. We had an alright time up until a run in with some of those idiots who cant keep their mouths shut and try to degrade others. I think it is because of their poor education and up bringing. Maybe due to the fact they are inbreds Couldn't be farther then the truth about some of them. It will be the last time we attend the festival, due to this happening on several occasions and it is uncalled for in today's world. Some people have no respect even for themselves, why try to degrade others they dont know. We believe there are some real creepy folks lurking around that festival and some real gypsies out to get you for a dollar no matter what. Also a trashy way about the themselves and no respect for women. Friendship should change its name to: Redneckville or Poor white trashville. Just saying it would sum up our trip we had out there in the fall of 2017. We are not the only ones who claim to have had some problems with some of the vendors and their inappropriate and degrading comments.

Read moreThis place has been a family tradition since before my birth, and I'm sure will continue to be a huge attraction long after I'm gone. There is something for everyone here at the shoot as we call it. No matter what your into they have something right up your alley. The atmosphere is awesome, The people are friendly, the prices are, well, typical of a flea market, but most vendors are quick to do a little haggling and strike a deal with you. The food is great..NMLRA has an awesome week of events for members, their are plenty of camp spots in a couple different campgrounds right there on Laughrey Creek,Which itself is a welcome blessing on a hot day.. it's an all around great time for the entire family.. parking is free in some spots if friendship,or you can pay $3-5 to park right across the street from the main grounds. Whatever you do be sure to check out the entire town as the flea market is spread throughout. And stop in Friendship Tavern for a cold drink...
