Where do I start? Well, From the beginning of our home search from Missouri I was given the name of Kellie Hay. She was a realtor of a my friends friend. She immediately greeted me with the most friendliest demeanor which went along way considering I did not know anyone in the Melbourne area. I have also worked in the service industry my whole life so I respond well to people who know how to take care of their customers. My husband and I flew in a month before our scheduled move to hunt for houses. Kellie cleared her schedule for those two days and gave us her full attention from first thing in the morning until early evening both days. She went above and beyond with scheduling the showings from my list of need to see homes. We must have seen 20 plus homes in those two days. Of course we didn’t know the area well so we went from beachside to Viera all the way to Sebastian area. Kellie never hesitate to be honest and showed us any property we wanted to see. Unfortunately we were unable to find our future home on that trip and I felt defeated. However, after our search we went back to the office and had the opportunity to speak with Greg Ellingson. He was a wealth of knowledge in the real estate game. The two of them both helped ease our concerns and answered several questions. We came out of that trip with a maximized understanding of what we really needed or wanted for our future home. Kellie was even able to get us established in a rental property for our move date to Florida. I was so very thankful for her communication along the whole move process. Once we made our way to Melbourne, I was back on the hunt again. Kellie has been very flexible with her time and made sure we seen every house I had on my list. I searched the housing market daily. Once I had a better idea of the location we were able to find a beautiful home in our price range. Military Family's Property Left in Devastation. As a military family stationed out of state, we trusted Ellingson Property Management to be our eyes and ears on our property. Unfortunately, our experience was a complete and utter failure, costing us thousands in damages and immense stress. This company cannot be trusted.

From the start, communication was a major issue. Simple maintenance requests from our tenant, like a broken dishwasher or the AC failing due to a lack of filter changes, were handled with incredible incompetence. Even after a hurricane, a minor roof leak was not addressed in a timely manner, allowing the damage to worsen.

The lack of oversight was truly staggering. We were forced to step in from out of state to deal with a tenant who was violating their lease—they had an unauthorized person and an unapproved dog living at the property. The neglect was so severe that we incurred upwards of $5,000 in damages and I had to fly back to Florida myself to assess the situation and coordinate repairs. The shady way they handled this situation is a clear red flag.

The final straw was the move-out process. The tenant moved out early without our knowledge, and a proper, thorough move-out inspection was not conducted. Neighbors confirmed that the walk-through was rushed, and several key damages and lease violations were completely missed. To make matters worse, Ellingson has illegally withheld the tenant's security deposit, which is our property.

This company's negligence and disregard for our property and our trust have been a complete disservice. Their mismanagement led to significant financial loss and left us feeling completely abandoned. We would strongly advise any property owner, especially military families who cannot be on-site, to avoid this company. They failed miserably in every aspect of their duty and their actions were...

Update 6/27/2020: Greg and his team did another amazing job, this time working with me to buy a house. We looked at over 10 houses and Greg's insight into the market and knowledge of the builder and neighborhood helped me decide where to buy. He was always available to meet or show a house and helped me get into a great house that we love. I have moved a lot and worked with a lot of realtors. Greg and the Ellingson properties team are, by far, the best!
