In May while traveling my family and I stopped at Owatonna Culver's. We ordered and sat down to wait. Shortly after a dinning room attendant recklessly sprayed the table next to our completely covering all of us including our 9 month old child with the commercial disinfectant. We gathered our children and left immediately. My wife is an EMT and we washed the 9 month old off in the parking lot and immediately found a local hotel to further wash and monitor the child for adverse reactions. Thankfully there was minimal reaction and she is fine. I contacted upper management and explained situation talked with franchise owner (JOHN FISHER) about it and mentioned I would be seeking reimbursement for the emergency hotel room we had to secure. He was rude condescending and simply refused to make right the disruption his negligent employee had caused our family. It was a $152 dollars to make it right. The $152 is principle as its not about the money. I as a business owner myself would of jumped at an opportunity to make it right but I guess his idea of a business owners responsibility to right the wrong of his staff differs from mine. I've contacted Culvers corporate and found their risk management to be equally unhelpful, condescending, and not concerned with the possible danger their restaurant is posing to the public. Neither owner of corporate mentioned one word of retraining or properly training its employees. I saw only a pattern of irresponsibility when it comes to the safety of its costumers. Both mentioned that this commercial disinfectant is safe to humans "when properly diluted" neither could guarantee with certainty this was done properly. They both implied that it is safe to spray a 9 month old child with which is probably the most ridicules thing I've ever heard in my life. I have contacted both local and state health departments for formal complaints and an investigation has been strated. I strongly suggest you as a customer do not patronize this greedy establishment. JOHN FISHER should be ashamed of his unwillingness to make right negligent behavior from his employees. As for Culver's corporate you guys are greedy as well to point of disregard of a baby being sprayed with commercial...
Read moreCustomer service is non existent at Culvers. I had a bad experience and it's impossible to get in contact with anyone to get any resolution. It could have been an easy fix but instead has become something that has left a bigger and much worse impression. My son never received his custard coupon from his kid's meal. I called and spoke to the manager of the location. At first, the manager was skeptical and made it seem as if it didn't happen. Then, the manager asked how would they even know what happened if I didn't report right away (it happened less than 24 hours but the next day since it was in the evening). I supplied the manager with the time and date of the purchase. The manager did not seem happy and said she would mail me out a coupon. Two months later and no coupon arrived, so I called back. The manager told me the coupon was sent. I informed the manager it most definitely never arrived. The manager seemed annoyed and said I would need to come in that day to get a coupon. I told her that I could not come in that day but I could come in sometime later in the week. She then said that would not work if I couldn't come in that day. I asked who the district manager is and was told she could not give out that information. She then said the general manager was there and I could talk to him. A young male came on the phone awhile later who sounded like a high school student and was obviously not a manager. At that point I gave up and attempted to reach out to corporate. Good luck on that as there is no way to contact anyone directly about a customer concern. It seems like in the commercials Culvers is the friendliest most customer focused place. In reality this has definitely not been...
Read moreI had a special needs son work at Culver's the discriminated against him. They fired him and lied on him. I spoke with a manager after they fired him. Because he worked there since it opened. They never wrote him up. Back the end of April 28th his hours where short he asked why they said one of the MoD said you where distracted your last shift but I have never seen it. That was it. My son explained sometimes when they are slow he kinda has a hard time finding things to do. Mangeer said nothing else. As a person with a disability they may get distracted if they finish all their normal task and are not given a new task. But no other communication is given. They said they other manger who didn't like him wrote it in a book but never addressed it or told him how to fix it or even tell him an incident took place. The GM said it doesn't matter that it's part of his disability and they never addressed it or even gave examples. I asked about the vague response and did he understand right to work doesn't mean you can discriminate against protective classes . He kept interrupting me and said he doesn't care and hung up. I tried calling cooperates number, they didn't answer at first. I called several times before getting someone who said leave a message I did twice we are going to reach out to EEO. Because as an ESE Teacher, wouldn't want this to happen to other people with...
