Surfside Bowl — Local services in Village of Somers

Pretty cool place to bowl. It's right off the lake, so from the parking lot you have a decent view of Lake Michigan/Kenosha harbor, which I found pretty cool. When we got inside, the place looked outdated, but everything worked as intended. The prices were decent. The bowling alley played nice and they had a decent selection of bowling balls for the casual bowlers. The shoes looked worn down but it held up. I really enjoy coming here. Prices are fair, staff are polite. The reason I'm rating a 4/5 stars is that I'm pretty sure their bowling balls need to retire. Some balls have fairly big chips on them. This last time I cut my finger on something Sharpe in the finger hole of the ball. They do say that bowling balls should be replaced every 5-10yrs. And based on how new bowlers are a but more rough with them that for a bowling place that should be important. Replacing the bowling balls would make this place 5...

I've only been here a couple of times, but always love coming in. Drinks are cheap and worth it! Staff here is always super friendly. The guy working Tuesday nights ar the counter thrown us a free game after bowling 6 and asking for one more game.
