Beautiful furniture and rugs and artwork and priced about double or even triple on each piece compared to what you can get online or for slightly less quality but still just as beautiful. It's too bad, for instance a chair you might think should be five or six hundred dollars is two grand. They will come down on price a little bit in prise but nothing compared to what shoppers can actually spend on furniture in their homes in this day and age. Plus I was very surprised their delivery charges go by Miles in which from their store to my house would be 20 miles and they wanted $133 for delivery of anything and they do not remove old pieces. We were driving through on the way to camp up north from Houston & our trailer blew a tire right before the driveway to Down South. The sweetest young woman came out and asked if we were ok, said we were welcome to use her parking area to change the tire, & even offered water. Could not have been kinder. While waiting for my husband to finish, I wandered over to chat and checked out the store. Y'all!!! Down South is a treasure trove of gorgeous furniture and decor!
